Smart Watch for Fitness

ERSCreeper

Hey everyone!

I am looking at getting myself a Smart Watch that will help me track my fitness (Among other things such as Sleep patterns etc.)

My current requirements are:

  • Sleep Monitoring
  • Pedometer (Waiting for a joke)
  • Calories burned
  • Support Huawei Ascend P6 & Ascend Mate 7 via Bluetooth (Both phones are Android 4.4)
  • One full day battery life

Features that I would like as extras

  • GPS tracking for routes.
  • Heart rate (Would be a nice to have.)
  • Music via earphones(3.5mm) or AD2P

I don't mind whether it is running Android Wear or a custom OS.

I have my eyes on this watch http://www.banggood.com/Waterproof-U10-Sport-Bluetooth-Smart-Wrist-Watch-for-Smartphones-p-949975.html

What else should I look at? I was planning to get a Moto 360 but I would rather wait on a V2 model.

I am looking at it but not sure how I am going to get one here. I just wish the screen had a colour display because that would make my day.

The Fitbit charge HR is pretty cool. It doesn't have a very large screen, but I believe it fits about all of your criteria. For what a small screen it may have, the battery life is good, and it can show all of the typical information as far as all of your fitness stats, notifications, and who might be calling you before looking at your phone. Understandably, it's a fitness tracker first, and a smart watch second. But there really isn't too many out there other than maybe the Gear 2, with the caveat that it only works with samsung phones. I would also try to stick with something more proven.
