white asus z97 pro heatsinks

Im building a black and white build and im not sure what to do with those gold heatsinks. Should I spray paint it? What product should i use?? Or should i use a vinyl? Thanksss

Use plastidip. A sort of rubber coating. Linus made a video where he painted components with plastidip.

Ignoring heat dissipation, i would use PlastiDip. If the mobo breaks and you need to do an RMA you can just peel off the paint.

I just built a system using the Z97 Pro motherboard the gold accents on theheatsink come off from the lower black portion so you can paint or plasti-dip them very easily, I personally wrapped them in carbon fiber but if you plan to do that be sure to set aside a couple of hours since they are fairly intricate. They don't contribute too much to heat dissipation since the contact between the lower and upper doesn't even have thermal pads or compound to transfer between them readily.

I think it's going to be better if you sand them and polish (of course it's going to loose its warranty). This way you get sick looks and retain the thermal dissipation.
