Upgrading my PC

Limpskinz

I would like to upgrade my PC because I feel that it's getting slower and slower, as if my processor has been damaged. If you guys could suggest what should I upgrade, that would be great. My budget is around 400 .
P.S. English isn't my first language

....everything.

On a more serious note, save up and buy a completely new system.

An SSD might help the slow feeling, but realistically your processor is pretty ancient, and it's likely time to save up for a new rig.

You might be able to find a used chip though. Is your board LGA1155?

Maybe the New pentium unlocked and a Asus z97 board and wait until 960 release.

Maybe a 200$€ AMD card will work as well.

Why not the 3258? It's also unlocked... I know the i5 has two more cores, but just for gaming... And costs more or less a half

That's pounds, his currency would be euros (he said). You recommended something for about 600 euros.. (400 pounds)

No need for new motherboard.

Just buy any i5 or i7 from this list (you can buy used)

http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail.aspx?DetailID=1228&CategoryID=1&MenuID=103

and get yourself a better graphics card, something like R9 280X or GTX 760. Of course get a good 600W power supply (Corsair CX, Fortron or Cooler Master Thunder series).

For gaming it will be good for some years.
