Yo people :) i love games like Left 4 Dead and Tv show The Walking dead - but do you ever thinking what do really be doing if this zombie stuff become real ,i mean chance for survival will probably be on minimum.  What will you do if you get up from bed, sit on Pc like every ordinary day, and suddently start to hear screams from neirbohood and watch how people running and eat other people. What you gonna do first and what safe shelter and weapon will you chose :)

I really can't answer the question realistically without it being a short story and research paper. But the jist of it would be make sure family is all right. loot till fully kitted, then kick some ass!

The one thing that I always hate about the zombie apocalypse movies is they never explain why it can't be contained. They always start with person being infected, infection spreading, 6 months later this is what the world is like. Why couldn't they contain it in those 6 months?

If it happened in real life, I'd not fight at all. The zombies will eventually 'die' off once they kill a large number of people and run out of food. Once that happens the world will just rebuild on it's own and most likely the survivors will be immune. Fighting them gives them a chance to fight back which will give them more and more food which seems to be the only thing they need.

I'd probably lock all doors and hope I don't die. I have no weapons in my house except a kitchen knife, and that's too close combat for a zombie.

I have mapped out a few plans before of possible survival routes and as I save up money I am slowly buying weapons, etc..

Although so far I only have a Katana and a Tanto.

My current plan is to get the family into the loft (I'm hoping to make it an armoury eventually), with the ladder up and the door down the zmbies shouldn't be able to get to us

and then when they thin out a bit I can jump down and have a go at killing some of them lol.

I would barricade myself fam and friends in a costco. With a generator and enough gas to last a very long time.

Life is pain. Anyone who says any different is either selling something or the government.

Im like a casual preeper. I think about what I should be doing to be prepared a lot of the time.

Im just lazy and live in New Zealand. At the very worst I might have 2 million zombies to contend with since our country is split into two islands. And they there are all thr other smaller islands scattered around.

I think I would survive.

My plan is to grab my backpack and go up into the hills for a week or so. Let the bloodshed quiet down a bit. Then return to loot what I need then ill head back out into the hills and build a permanent base.

Yeah, I'd probably try and stockpile a ton of supplies and try and survive with my friends and family, but in reality things probably wouldn't go the way you would expect them to. In reality, there are thousands of other people with a similar idea of barricading themselves inside of a Costco or Wal-Mart and you don't know what they would do to survive. Also, the longer you "wait it out", the worse it would get because more people would die and get infected and if no one finds a cure, the horde will just get bigger and bigger. Safest place would probably be far up North where the cold would kill the infection. I live in Canada so I might actually be safe. :P
