I was hoping to get a few opinions with the parts used in this possible build, general everyday use nothing too demanding - triple 1080 monitors, light photoshop work, no gaming yet, like to learn more about running virtual machines on it. I'm sure it's overkill for what I would normally use it for but a bit of leg room to grow with is always nice.

What would you change up and why comments would be appreciated so I can refine it before buying parts.

Thanks.

Definitely good for what you want to do. Although I would go with a single 980 in stead of two 970's

Windows 7 Ultimate was oddly a gift so I can't complain too much.

My real concern with the build right now would be with the case and perhaps the motherboard, since I'm not too familiar with it or the ability to upgrade the rest of the system based on it.

I considered a single GTX 980 vs the dual 970's but from what I've seen in a few places the recommendation has been to go with the 970's. I went with the PSU where it is so that there was room for just about any upgrade in the future I might need without having to switch it out.
