I spent a while making this build the best it could be.

Anyways, it's all being shipped, but I'd like to know what you guys think about it:

Looks solid, I would've gone with a Dark Rock Pro 3 over that Noctua cooler, elsewise it looks solid. Puts my build to shame..

 

Granted I only spent $750 on my PC myself.

I like it! I personally don't like the odd goldish colored ASUS motherboards. I really wish I hadn't bought my ASUS Z87 Plus. That's a personal problem of mine though, you probably don't care.

I hadn't seen it when looking for an amazing air cooler. But I'm sure it's great.

You don't need 3rd party thermal compound. I never used any, and I'm pretty sure it comes with most aftermarket coolers.

the components are not a bad choice, just some things like storage and cooler can be shaped up for a better rig

 

im also going to suggest dual 970 for the price of that 980, and they will DESTROY the 980

I got the SSD for a boot device.

windows alone will take the ENITRE DRIVE with barely any space left over (like 1 GB). it is good to leave at least 10-15% of an ssd as unused space.

They're about same performance wise. At least in my personal experience. I just prefer Be Quiet!'s aesthetics to their products. Which is why I run a Dark Rock Pro 3 and Silent Base 800

10% of 32 is 3.2, windows is ~24 GB.

I got more than 10% left.

not really, the only benifit of higher speed ram is with apus, not even in rendering is there that noticeable diffrence

I guess now that DDR4 is out now, all DRR3 ram is slow. :P

But it doesn't really do much for performance in gaming.

only affects apus man, so its a waste to spend more for higher speeds when i wont affect you at all
