With freesync right before us, i wanna ask which freesync monitor would suit me the best? (I would prefer high refresh rate but i might consider others too)

it depends if you want ips or high refresh rate...

 

and we dont have a list of all the freesync monitors yet...because theyre not available for purchase...

Hmmm then what would be the best choice for my rig? I heard that 1440p 144hz is like the sweet spot now (but i also heard that there is minimal difference btwn 1080p and 1440p too)

And idk whether my 290x can reach 144hz with 1440p (on games like bf4) (but im pretty sure i can hit those frames on smth like csgo and league)

most people prefer IPS over high refresh rate...

you need to find out what you like better by actually going to a store and trying out both options

 

and i think you should get 1440p with that GPU

In FPS games like CS the framerate/refresh is way more important the color production. Any person who is serious about CS will have every graphics turned down except for player models.
