i've noticed in linus's videos that companies show off their products in hotel suites. are these all in the same hotel, or scattered in los vegas?

Its kinda spread out between a couple hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, because one hotel convention room is not enough.

There's a main show floor, but companies that aren't rich or big enough to get on the floor hire out suites to show their products.

can anyone go to the suites, or only people like linus?

I think its all same hotel.

There are some companies that make small private thing at some other place but most are in that same hotel

They are usually spread out along the Las Vegas strip between different hotels, venues and convention centers some times it just depends where thy can get a venue or suite easily and bring all their stuff with them to showcase.

Only people who work in the tech industry. I asked somebody, it's not open to the general public. I mean, what's the worst that can happen? Like auto shows, CES should be a public thing.

how do they verify that you work in the tech industry, and what does that include? could i say that i work in a computer store or something?

I don't know in full detail, so i don't know if working in a computer store counts.

They say credentials, not exactly sure what but they probably have a list of things they look for.

At the very least, CES should have a day or two of public viewing.

I've been to a few auto reveals that are entirely private and invite only, but they bring their toys out later to the public anyways. That would be nice.

I certainly would enjoy seeing some new tech every now and then, CES is my "look at what you're gonna be buying this year" preview, I'd like to at least see some stuff up close and not resort to begging industry friends for a pass to attend.

Yes, these bliddy stupid companies probably just don't trust children with their stuff. It's not fucking fair. It should be anybody accompanying them should be at least 16 then, not fucking 18.
