I think Old Snake... MGS4 is a masterpiece, also David Hayters amazing performance

Eh, MGS4 was too much of a movie for me, I liked it when it came out but it has barely any replay value since its 60% cutscenes

 

so.. like every MGS :D

 

(btw I am a massive MGS fan, I play through the series at once or twice very year)

I do too, but mgs1/2/3/pw had around 3 hour cutscene run time, while mgs4 is like 9 hours and even holds the world record for longest cutscene.

That is true but MG2 had 3 hours hours of codec calls  and 3 hours of cutscene and about 2 hours of gameplay :P

But it didn't though?  It had probably 5 hours with the cutscenes and codecs (Only counting the non-optional ones) and the tanker section itself was probably around an hour so...

Still a super short game with long cutscenes and long codec calls - which are actually the reason I LOVE MGS and its my favourite game franchise ever

Well, I like MGS because y'know... the gameplay and the story is a side thing just as good.

And judging by what you just said, I take it you like games like the Last of us, huh?

yes! TLOU is a masterpiece, I love story and atmosphere in games as well as amazing voice acting, cinematics-  but it still has to have good gameplay
