Best audio and mic solution under or around 100 USD?

fallout68

What would be the best solution? I'm currently looking at the HyperX Cloud or maybe the HyperX Cloud II when it comes out. Any better headset or headphone/addon mic combo?

EDIT: I will mainly be using these for gaming, with the occasional music. I don't care for surround sound, but I'll take it if it's there. The mic will be only used for Skype calls and in game chat.

The competitor to the cloud is corsairs 1500, I owned the original and it was super comfortable and sound was decent. +optional 7.1 virtual surround, revision 3

My original corsair 1500s have lasted for over 2 years, and my friend currently uses them for his daily driver, they outlived their warranty.

Definitely not a competitor, not even in the same league.

HyperX Cloud or PC 350 SE if its got to be a headset.

Otherwise [insert HP] + [insert MIC].

Sennheiser HD518 with a zalman clip on unless you need isolation which then I would recommend Sony MDR7506 and the zalman clip on.
