The Schiit Stack, but you would need extremely expensive headphones to notice a difference

Why is that?

It doesn't make it sound better, it is just more powerful. But the on board audio is powerful enough for almost anything besides top end stuff

What would make something sound better, I thought that was what DACs were for.

Nothing really, the only thing to do would be getting new headphones/speakers

The rule is you can't make headphones sound better, but you can prevent them from sounding bad.

(you can always mod the headphones of course, but it's only worth it on VERY few models)

That answer sounds kind of sketchy, what would be the best 200$ headphones then?

You can't even imagine. The electras are cheap headphones to begin with, not to mention razer is a horrendous company especially for audio

There mice are nice, motherfucker.

But anyways, thanks for the suggestion, I'll fit them into my PC build I'm doing. Is there anything with similar quality but with a mic, or is it better to get a desktop mic?

I was thinking of getting a blue yeti/snowball, my youtube channel needs an upgrade from some 30$ mic I found at a pawn shop, not terrible quality, but it introduces some weird bg noise.

Budget?

And don't go with blue products, they make nice microphones but they make you use their proprietary accessories which are WAY overpriced

How so? It uses a standard USB c to a interface. Nothing is proprietary AFAIK.

My favorite closed headphones that are around $200 I can recommend are Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pros. The 250ohm versions will pair nicely with the Schiit amps.

Appatently there's not much of a difference, so I'll go with headphones, rather than DAC/amp combo. Would the mobo be able to drive 250ohm headphones?

You would want a dac for those, which would put it over your budget. That's why imo you should get the custom one pros, they are also from beyerdynamic but they don't need a dac ;)

What exactly is bad about blue yeti mics and what would be your suggestion for 100$, preferable cardiac.

Speaking it's lower than your budget, you could get a nice swivel arm to put it near your mouth. Want a link to one of those too?

Their mics are great, but you should really buy a shock mount so if you type loudly or you bump your desk it wont transmit to the mic, but you have to buy special yeti overpriced accessories

Very probably, 250 ohm beyers are reasonably sensitive.

Amp, not DAC. And see my disagreement above.
