Radiator Fans

Hi,

 

 I recently bought a NZXT Kraken X61 cooler and i plan to mount the rad on top of my enthoo luxe however im not sure if i should mount the intake fans on top of the rad or below the rad.

 

I currently have 2 intake fans in the front, 2 intake fans on the top and 1 exhaust at the back. I also have 1 fan inside the case cooling my storage.

 

Help would be greatly appreciated.

it doesnt matter

 

i think its easier though to install the fans at the bottom of the rad, because if you put them between the rad and case you will need special longer screws that I'm pretty sure the X61 does not come with

You should probably mount them on the bottom, so the heat is exhausted out of the case and not onto your other components

Id put them on top and exhaust out , then it's easier to clean off dust

Sorry but i dont quite get wat u mean. They are going to be intake fans so either way they are going to be blowing hot air from the rad into the case.

I, soz I just skimmed over it, I'd put it on the top then

True, however id rather have positive air pressure in the case rather than negative

true , then ghetto mount the rad outside the case ? Lmao I almost did that today on my pc

Actually on second thought, dont do that as canada can get rlly cold lol

I was thinking about doing something simmilar , like having like a detachable 480 external rad but idk where I'd put it.

So many ideas so little money and effort
