Okay so I am looking to purchase some games, and was thinking of using G2A, I mean loads of people seem to advertise it, and if it was super shady they wouldnt, well they might but anyways.

So the game I am looking to purchase is D3 RoS, and I don't want to pay full price due to the fact of I don't know how long I will play it for.

So I know you need to look for english, and the one I am looking for supports this language, I just cant play it in china (WOW!!) but seriously I am in the EU, so no worries.

https://www.g2a.com/diablo-3-reaper-of-souls-cd-key-global.html <- is the one I am looking at.

So is this site safe to purchase from, is it legal? and would my battle net account be banned if I purchased from this site? I would ideally like to not loose my account.

Thanks!

It is safe (unless I am one of the very lucky?). I haven't heard of anyone being banned from purchasing games from sites like this, only sometimes the game keys being revoked.

I bought from G2A and G2Play and have had only one problem with Mirror's Edge. Never got banned though.

My friends buy from it a lot and they never had any trouble with it.

Seems safe to me

I've bought also sold games there, 95% of the times it works normally. Just lookout for the rating of the seller and you should be ok. Also G2A shield is most of the times useless. I never buy games with shield because for one I check how many copies of the game the seller has also their rating.

Try http://www.kinguin.net/ sometimes games are cheaper there.

Don't know about legal but I've never had an issue.

Generally I'd pay for G2A shield too just to make sure but if it's a G2A offer rather than a seller, you should be clear. And if you buy the shield you should be fine regardless. As I've read I haven't had an issue.

One thing to watch for though is Steam games from other sellers will come in the form of gift links, not an issue because it still works but it may throw you off.

sort of, I bought one thing once, and it arrived fine, one of my friends uses it all the time, though I know somebody who had issues on 2 occasions, and now avoids it

Personally I dont use it, even if I have 1% of doubt its not worth it, my steam account has over 500 games in it, and I am not risking it to save £10 on a game...that said there is no reason your account should banned but keys COULD be revoked

I also question the ethics of these sites... that said, some new games are totally overpriced too so understable people want lower prices

Basically, be safe, if you are using it, use their shield service, and avoid the marketplace unless its somebody with very good ratings
