Noticed a circular protrusion from Linus' butt in his iSwitched to Mac Part 3 that looks like a tin?

Its for his mic. I think,

guess so, seems strange that he would wear a mic in shots that involve no audio though. I guess they took the shots right after shooting the video so he must have still had it on or something.
