Rebel xt as second body?

I currently own the following things:

Canon 70D

EF-S 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 IS

EF-S 55-250 f/4-5.6 IS

EF 50 f/1.8 II

Misc. accessories.

 

I was looking at buying this for about $150 and selling the 18-55 lens for about $50 leaving me with $100 Out of pocket.

I wouldn't sell that lens if you're gonna be $100 out of pocket. That's not such a great thing to do.

I think it'd be a good cheap body but personally I find the ISO range a bit limited based on the specs but with a slightly smaller than APS-C sensor, higher ISO is probably not as useful anyways as it is on the full frame I am used to.

for 100 dollars i'd expect it to be a great value as an extra camera or camera you can hand off to a friend/family member without concern.

Okay. That was my thought is I could hand it off to my sister once I upgrade and give my second shooter my 70D.
