Hi guys!

So I am planning to build a PC, and:

1. Budget & Location
Budget in the title, but willing to shell out a few more dollars, Buying from Newegg US, so the total is about $936.89 w/ Windows but no peripherals

2. Aim
Documenting, will have a lot of programs open when using. Will play games, like MC, COD/BF, Sims, and maybe Civilization, and some moderate editing

3. Monitors
I just want one 19-25 inch 1080p monitor,  and I dont want extra monitors in the future.

4. Peripherals
Well I'm a noob at this stuff, so suggest me some! I'm willing to spend a few more bucks for a good keyboard, mouse, and monitor (resolution and inch size above) And please, No Razer suggestions......please..........please!

5. Why are you upgrading?  First Build.

The FX processor should do well at multi tasking, and the R9 290 will be great at gaming

I think that the most important thing for you would be a good GPU so i took the EVGA 970 , the G3258 pentium is pretty good CPU that is able to overclock well n does not spit out heat like crazy . For your budget , i dont think that a SSD is all that important and i feel that a 2TB HDD shud be okay for now , u may wanna add an SSD later on

You could question my use of a Z97 board on a non OCable CPU but he future upgrades might then give him the abillity to OC, I saved about 70 dollars on the case at first to make room for other improvments. After everything I am actually under the budget so you can buy a better CPU cooler, more storage (256 Gb MX100 SSD/2Tb Seagate) or another case if you don't like the one I picked.

Edit: Fuuu he needs windows well leave the SSD and then buy that later or if you are a student you can make a USB that installs windows and get this: http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/Windows-8.1-Pro-for-Students/productID.288769600

This is what I would do. It has all the advantages of all the builds and you can fit in windows for $1k as I didnt include rebates. The CPU is because you said you dont like to close programs yet want to game. The rest seems pretty self explanatory to me.
