Hi!

I was just curios what Linus Media Group use to run all their scripts for the episodes? Does Linus and friends read off a PC screen? How does it work and what software is needed?

Thanks!

I'd be quite interested to see a video on how they do their scrips. Or a long video encompassing their entire video making process.

I believe you can see the teleprompter for a few second in one of their videos, I'll post the link when I find it.

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

Yeah Linus usually writes the scripts far in advance, their old way of making videos was more improvised, you could argue more enjoyable, but now it's far more professional and without flaws.

I like the way videos are made now, the script saves a lot of time for us, includes almost everything that needs to be said and thus delivers proper content.

Once the script is written, they load it onto a tablet which represents the screen from the teleprompter that usually exists in tv-studios.

They then proceed to read it on-video, sometimes the audio is pre-recorded, they have a little booth for that in which they record the voice-overs.

Then the video chaps do their magic, which they're very good at.

That thing is pretty cool. Very professional. Thanks guys.

Not sure what Linus uses but Paul uses a pretty simple setup lol

Wouldn't it be hard as hell to read off the glass with such a light background? I can hardly see any of the words when they pass the back cutout.
