Asus Xonar DGX vs Z87-Pro onboard sound? (realtek 1150)

Max Lee

I was thinking of buying an Asus Xonar DGX sound card to improve my headset's microphone quality as I have seen reviews online in which this sound card will help, but is the audio output BETTER from my onboard sound or will the DGX blow my onboard sound out of the water?

Unless you're an audiophile, it probably won't.

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.
