Just a tip for your recording, invest in a pop filter it's really off putting.

>i7 4770k

> Not top of the line

last time i checkrd i found these where superior cpus to mine:

i7-4790k

i7-5820k

i7-5930k

i7-5960x

and all those gpu's have superior performance to my beloved gtx780 (not even getting into all the sli/cfx combos)

r9 290x

gtx780ti

geforce titan

titan black

gtx 970

gtx 980

..so no my pc is standard and not top of the line.

It's a shitty port no doubt about that, with a fx 8320 and a hd 7870 it runs like complete garbage... 20-30 fps with lower settings and changing the resolution isn't improving anything at all

man don't want to be mean or anything, but you are using hardware that is almost 5 years old now and was mid-range and very meh even at launch...what do you expect? if lowering resolution does not improve performance that point me to a cpu bottleneck..

Not really , its a pc on the high end-enthusiast bracket.

Just the cpu and gpu alone are like 600 dollars.

fair enough then...but the game would run the same with a lower end machine but with medium settings instead of ultra and this is to be expected with such a vast and detailed open world game...not the fault of poor development or bad optimisation...ACU is a demanding game and i've demonstrated that it can run flawlessly on maximum settings with a ''normal'' gaming rig.

/thread please mod i'm done, thanks.

Paired with my r9 the fx 8320 gets 40 to 50 fps so the cpu isn't the problem here. To answer your question i would expect the game to not run like crap on mid end pc's, i'm sorry but the vast majority of people owning a gaming pc don't have a gtx 780 or a r9 290 (or better) coupled with the lastest haswell i7 in it.

I really enjoyed the game, but it doesn't excuse ubisoft for making a crappy port like this.

fair enough i respect your opinion but with FXAA and medium settings i'm sure the game does run at very acceptable framerates even on mid-range hardware.

Gtx 750 1gb card runs the game at 5fps xD

But HD7770/HD7750 1gb can run the game at 20fps. I'm not even mad! Thats quite impressive.... NOT
