Will Windows 10 support older games?

no one knows until its final release version

but if the game supports win8 currently, there's a safe bet win10 will work

Probably. Then again Windows 8 broke compatibility with many games at launch which got fixed later. Don't be an early adopter if you have worries. Wait a few months and see how it goes.

From curiosity, how old games does win 8 support?

I haven't installed old games, but i've downloaded software for Windows XP and whatever was before XP.

Windows 8, I got to play games from XP era, Windows 8.1 on the other hand...

A: Have you not googled it? Are you sure StackOverflow doesn't have an answer? Does the error tell you what's wrong? If the answer is no to all of those, message me.
