Burnt out laptop charger

i was just wondering..... my cousins bought a asus laptop charger and it melted the casing after the second charge. any suggestions?

Did he check the power outputs and was it the one belonging to the laptop?

If its under warranty, then RMA it. If not, then find a replacement with the same wattage(or more) and connector.

well I really dont know where they got it they just showed it to me. 

 

apperently it was brand new

well im new to this website so bear with me xD

 

anyways i cheked the laptop and the power. it was the same exact one with the outputs. it was new too

Make sure it matches the Wattage. Its better to purchase original OEM chargers btw.

- 'YOLO' doesn't exist in the PC World!
