Would the CPU be good for rendering (photoshop, after effects, sony vegas,...? and also I would like to have nvidia instead of AMD

What type of things are you rendering?

You need to quote a post or tag a member or else they won't get a notification you replied to them.

That's more expensive and worse than the original list.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

I would say this is a pretty good pc.

Why would you want a better CPU? The Intel Core i5-4430 is a really good CPU.

I have the i5-4670 which is awesome, but would cost ~25 more.

and I have just noticed that the Motherboard doesn´t support usb 3.0. But I need usb 3.0 so maybe that can be change

The CPU is definitly not bad for rendering. But of course not great. It's decent and gets the job done. I cant remember correctly how long it would take to render a video on my i5, but it was definitly okay.

If you need USB3 and maybe a different CPU for rendering anyway, then an AMD CPU could be a good choice. But pls don't ask me anything about AMD. I'm more of an intel guy :P

You might even save enough money by purchasing an AMD CPU, so you could buy a NVidia card if you really want one.

I guess you won't see much difference between an i5 4670 and an i5 4690k.

I meant the type of content you're rendering.

Simply cutting video clips together is very different from dropping buckets of Red giant plugins on many layers
