AFAIK an eGPU enclosure + GPU costs close to a full gaming rig. An eGPU enclosure is a case, power supply, and thunderbolt-capable motherboard after all. Add in a GPU and that's practically a full gaming in itself, and wil cost close to one.

I like my setup for the portability. I am not home enough to justify a full blown tower, and like having my laptop on the go, with a gaming machine waiting at home,

What is "eGPU"? Since I don't know what it is, I know I would appreciate a video on it.

I think Linus Tech should do a video on eGPU for some people who have laptops and can't afford to build a gaming pc or just want a portable gaming rig. What do you guys think about this?

@LinusTech @Slick @nicklmg

He did make one

He did one at the start of last year but there wasn't really any driver support at the time.
