Howdy!

I am looking for some input on finding a new monitor for my computer set up. I have been tirelessly looking through different monitors for the past two weeks and think some outside opinions would really help my search. Some of the things I am looking for/value are as follows:

  • I am looking to use this monitor as my main monitor.
  • I do play some games but care mostly about the performance of League of Legends as it is the game that I play the most and at the most competitive level.
  • I would like to have as thin of bezels as possible.
  • Something that will go well with my gtx 760 video card.
  • Looking at the $300 price range.
I initially was looking at only IPS screens as I really like the wow factor (displays that are simply beautiful). However, I have also been looking into TN panels as I am beginning to question how much of a difference I would actually notice. Am I incorrect in this assumption?

This screen is the one I am most currently interested in as it would allow me more room for multitasking (I love to have tons of tabs open while browsing and running other programs).

It is also the same height as the 23 in screen I am currently using and would synergize well if placed next to each other as dual monitors.

However, I am open to any and all suggestions if anyone has any ideas for displays that could fit my needs. Thoughts and comments are welcome.

Thanks!

As long as you're aren't using the monitor for professional color work, TN monitor are great option, especially for gaming considering all the 144hz monitors are TN panels as far as I know

Yeah IPS is pretty nice but so is 144hz. Seeing that you have a 760 and play LoL I suggest getting something like this: http://www.amazon.com/AOC-i2367Fh-23-Inch-Frameless-LED-Lit/dp/B009V8F700

Your $300 price range isn't necessary.

All the parts are here, just need to get customized cords to connect the motherboard to the front panel.

Thanks!

I am beginning to think a monitor like this would serve me well, and I could use the money I save on other accessories. Great Idea!
