I don't care about cost. I want to know which will have a higher fps at 1440p and what frame rates I can expect? thanks:)

One R9 290x is about as powerful as one GTX 970.


I dont know about the framerates though, They will be high enough.

3 970s at 1440P 8GB framebuffer is overkill.

Probably the 970's in a game with good scaling.
