My PC shut down like 2 years ago and wouldn't start AT ALL (No light,  no nothing when pressing the button)

That was a problem with the motherboard, so that doesn't seem to be the case here.

Have you tried unplugging it and leaving it unplugged for a few minutes?

Nothing at all

What parts do you have?

Is there any chance you can try a different PSU?

Just turned it on it went bang

Yeah.. That must be a PSU problem..

Is it a good brand PSU? If not it might have fried your whole system with it..

@Minibois I have 4690k h80i z97 g55

Just checked your profile and saw your full build (should have done that in the first place, my apologies).

Either way, what I would do in your case is:

Try your PC with a different PSU. If it works like that, you know the problem is the PSU.

If the PSU is indeed the problem, RMA it (I'm gonna take a guess you built yourself, if it is pre-built bring in the whole system back).

If not.. I don't know what would be the problem (probably mobo..)

It sounds like your PSU died, similar scenario to when it happened in one of my computers.

(But we need more information to know for sure.)

Oh.... Try doing the PSU paper clip test, to see wether the PSU or the motherboard blew up. Most likely the PSU it sounds like. What PSU is it?

does it smell like burning? you may have fried your power supply .-. i have done it twice .-.

Is there a number being displayed on your motherboard, or a beep sequence or anything?

turns out graphics card blew up no warnings just a bang, replacement on its way thanks to amazon
