Sweclock always seems to over estimate prices by A LOT. remember the 780? it was supposed to be $900 and haswell was supposed to be like $500 i wouldnt trust them all that much imo.

Isn't that what Intel did with the 3930K and the 3960X? Well atleast they added 3mb more to L3 cache.

Yeh I would not really trust that pricing, Honestly AMD and Intel are not stupid as many people would make them out to be, they will charge what they feel is competitive and if it doesn't sell then you know its overpriced, the goal with any business is to sell products. Look what happened to the FX-8150 it came to market at $249 dollars and worked its way town to around $180. By the time the FX 8350 came around AMD was charging $200 (newegg actually prices the FX 8350 above the AMD MSRP and it still sells like hotcakes). Once the performance numbers come around we can guesstimate where this will fit in, My opinion it will be $20-30 cheaper then the 4770k as it will not have the single thread performance of the 4770k, but it will be better then the 4770k in multi-thread due to the extra cores and clock speed boost.

This is the first time a rumour has actually made me break out in laughter.

But then I got sad, as there will be people buying these top percentile sample 8350's for that money. A good 400% markup for 6-7% extra top end? Bring it on, says the dummy.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

I have a 8350 that runs at 5 Ghz. Unless this thing can push 6 with an oc then its not worth more than 275.

Lol the processors won't even be sold separately for a while , they will be first releasing the cpu's only on oem systems due to lack of mobo compatibility (too great tdp)

I definitely don't think that is right, it's AMD we're talking about, the FX8350 is around £150 here, I expect the FX9590 to be around £200... max.

.... You could build a whole relatively decent pc for the price of that

Although i doubt they'll price it that high unless they throw in a full custom water cooling loop for it.

Did they make any architectural changes? Otherwise it's wiser to just get a FX 8350 and OC it to 5.0 GHz.
