Nope. So far NVidia has nothin confirmed about a 960, 980 Ti, 990 or anything else.

Everything about those cards thus far has been rumors.

However, I would be surprised if Nvidia would not make a 960 or a card better than a 980 (like a Titan for the 900 series).

Mike myers.

An evil force that's loose," a force that is "unkillable".[2]Professor Nicholas Rogers elaborates, "Myers is depicted as a mythic, elusive bogeyman, one of superhuman strength who cannot be killed by bullets, stab wounds, or fire."[29] Carpenter's inspiration for the "evil" that Michael would embody came when he was in college. While on a class trip at a mental institution in Kentucky, Carpenter visited "the most serious, mentally ill patients". Among those patients was a young boy around twelve to thirteen years-old. The boy gave this "schizophrenic stare", "a real evil stare", which Carpenter found "unsettling", "creepy", and "completely insane". Carpenter's experience would inspire the characterization Loomis would give of Michael to Sheriff Brackett in the original film. Debra Hill has stated the scene where Michael kills the Wallaces' German Shepherd was done to illustrate how he is "really evil and deadly".[28]

Speculation is pointing towards the 960 being launched (or at least announced) early next year.  The 980ti or 990 (whatever they decide upon) is most likely already in development but is being held back until AMD releases their new cards which perform better than the 970 and 980.  There's no official news, everything is speculation.

But the way releases work, it's a game of cat and mouse - Nvidia has no reason to release anything (e.g. 980ti or 990) unless there's new competition, likewise AMD will likely be releasing something soon to compete with the 900 series, and (this is just my speculation) based on the recent price cuts on the 295X2, I'd say they've definitely got something in the pipeline almost ready for release.  This is the way the market works - you need competition to lower prices and drive innovation - if there's no competition, there's no particular reason to develop something better and there's no reason to lower the price, in fact you'd see the opposite - prices would get hiked.

But yeah take everything you read about new cards with a grain of salt - unless it's been announced in an official statement by the company, there's no real way of knowing for sure.

If you watched the Wan Show on Friday, there was a shot in the background saying "Gtx 960 at CES." It was around the time Paul came on.

also Nvidia told Tom's Hardware: "We don't comment on rumors or unannounced products." that pretty much confirms it for me.

980tTi would need to be a new core/chipset (or whatever the GM--- is).
