The m40xs are more analytical, but still very similar.

Own both, they are with in margin of error from each other.

So answer me this in a price to performance:

M40X or M50X?

 

Also are they fully over ear :P

I reckon the ath-50 no x is quite good value. Otherwise the ath-40x is a good option as well. Also, the hyper x ones are actually one of the better gaming headsets

M50 is pointless, M40x fixs all its issues for generally less money. M50 has ass pads and a fixed cable twp things a cheaper headphone has improved on while sounding the same.
