Project: Tiny Hulk

     So i guess this build has been a long time coming.  My little cousin "Kyler" went to France for the CS:GO Women World Championship 2014.  Her team ended up getting 2nd place, so she ended up getting some parts from their sponsors for a new pc.  Which she needs badly, her current setup is a C2D and a 4000 series ati/amd.  Im kind of in the middle of it and thought i would post it up here just coz.

 

System Specs:

 

CPU: Intel I7 4770K

PSU: Corsair CX750M

Ram: Kingston HyperX 2x4G

SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 256G

Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Gene

GPU: Asus Direct CU II OC Nvidia 770

Case: Prodigy M - Green with window

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

 Fans: Corsair 2-120SP Quiet, 4-120AP Quiet, 1-140AP Quiet

If it isn't green and built in a silverstone rvz01, it isn't tiny nor a hulk.

FT03 looks nicer.

FT03 looks nicer. 

The digital storm bolt 2 looks the best, yet I don't want to spend 1000+ for a case.

Im not sure.  I had just planned on masking them off with some carbon fiber wrap, but i suppose it wouldn't be that hard.  Need to look around for some spare parts to put in the slots so the contacts don't get painted.  Have to give that some thought at work today.

Paint job on that cooler is amazing :D! Wondering how it will affect cooling performances, have you tested temps before painting it?

Nah was using the stock one on to make sure it worked fine. I've painted radiators before and it only makes 2-3c differance.

Was asking it because I was wondering what kind of difference it made with the 212 then you answered my question with the radiator part haha. The 2-3c degrees difference is on 100% load? That would be pretty damn nice :)

Nah that was not full load, id say 60-70% just playing games, maybe like 5c fully loaded, not sure..  The temps painting a cooler vs leaving it bare al/cu are not gonna make an OC or brake it, hell most of the companies that sell rads paint them one color or another, if they are copper its so they do not oxidize if they are aluminum its for looks.  Painting them is fine as long as you don't have something crazy like 2 mils of paint thickness.
