One of the best 1080p monitors there is.  It has a very thin bezel, almost zero input lag, a polarizing filter to minimize IPS glow, light anti-glare coating, fully adjustable stand, 4-port USB 3.0 hub, two HDMI and two DP inputs, and DP daisy chaining.

Aww, I've been wanting to switch out my monitors for these for a while. Hopefully some good deals on them will come up in the UK in January.

I'd so get one for home if I didn't feel like it would be incredibly stupid as I would then have 4 1920x1080 monitors when I graduate in 2.5 years :/

This is currently my daily driver, one of the best 1080p monitors there are! For gaming is amazing, don't be fooled, those GTG latencies don't mean anything, this bad boy has almost no input lag.

great monitor but an 8ms response time isn't that great for gaming if thats what some of you care about.

I game on my P2414H (same exact panel) with absolutely no issues (and yes, I play FPS games). As others have said, the G2G response time is pretty meaningless.

Do it. I recently made a trip to MicroCenter and saw the 34UC97 and 29UM65 and realized how amazing 21:9 is.

I've got two p2214H's which is I guess just a smaller version of this panel and it's not very good. Background blacks on one of them are terribly yellow-ish, with 2 spots really bright (and it bugs the hell out of me) and the other monitor has a dead pixel since the first week I had it.

And the third one(actually the first one I had but I sent it back) had three dead pixels after a three weeks.

Did I get just really unlucky?

But the response time as you say is good, I also don't have any noticeable lag with it.

Sounds like bad luck as it's (P2414H anyway) just an uncalibrated U2414H.

I did not actually :(. 25" may be a bit too small IMO. What I can say though is that the 29UM65 is pretty good. An alternative to the 29" is to buy the korean monitor version which I believe is around the same price as the 25".
