Posted December 5, 2014 so im doing upgrades to my computer at the moment i currently have a GTX 660 and im getting Duel 980's is it worth using my 660 for PhysX or should i just use the 980's Character artist in the Games industry. Posted December 5, 2014 Author it better to run PhysX from the GTX980s how about grabbing 3 GTX970s? that way you have 2 970 in SLi and the 3rd card for PhysX need the graphics horsepower for rendering for work... oh okay, it will work for sure, I just assumed you'd be using it for gaming The 660 would be a capable PhysX card, the right amount of GPU horsepower really thats what i was thinking... it wont be linked via SLI it will just be its own standalone PhysX card so it shouldnt cause problems with gpu rendering... plus i can pull the CUDA cores for rendering over all 3 card Character artist in the Games industry.
