Help me pic a mic

As a matter of fact he asked "i don't want to spend over 100$", thus meaning a mic that costs <100$ and 7$ is smaller than 100$, sooo I was right.

It doesen't work like that... the reason I'm recommending the Zalman clip on mic is because it's great. Have it for 1 years and the quality of it is outstanding.

As for your car question, it depends, what would you use the car for?

Blue snowball if you want to spend around $50. If you want closer to $100, Audio Technica AT2020 or Blue Yeti. Keep in mind if you put it on your desk it will pick up sounds from your keyboard and mouse very clearly.
