Which controller should I get?

So, I am contemplating getting a new controller, along with some other goodies when I can. One of the things that is near the top of my list is a new controller. Right now I have a Logitech Dual Action controller, and although it has served my dad and myself very well over the years, I feel that it is time for an upgrade. I was considering the 360 controller for Windows, since I have a controller for our 360, and I am rather in love with it (comfortable and it fits my hands really well), and I was wondering if it was worth spending a little more and getting a One controller for Windows. I don't have any experience with the controller, so I have to ask you guys. Is the One controller similar in size and shape (maybe a bit bigger) when compared to the 360 controller? That's all that really matters.

Xbox controller without a shadow of a doubt. It's a perfect fit for your hands whereas the PS3 controller is much too much and there's barely anything to grip

X1 controller is pretty nice just to shoulder buttons are a little tough me to press cause of large hands

Xbox because of the support, not because of the shape or the price. It just has the support you need and always will.

I'm personally using a Logitech F710. It is really nice in my opinion for driving games as the triggers have more room for throttle and braking than a 360 or PS3 controller. It is a little bit bigger, but it is very solid in the hand.

Might've gotten mad once and whipped it... Still looks and works just fine. (Note: Throwing it tends to launch the batteries out)

I was going to buy a PS4 controller since they were $35-40 during the sales but microsoft actually has software for their controllers and there are a lot of games that will show "press B to return" for example when you have a controller plugged in which would get pretty annoying on a PS4 controller. I'd say just get a 360 controller since it's comfortable and has the best support.

I don't like the xb1 controller, it feels really weak in terms of vibration, but damn it's solidly built, it's like a tank.

honestly same situation. i have a xbox 360 controller, and wirless adapter. wondering if i should move over to a xbone controller. I played with one in a store, and honestly, doesnt feel much different. Id go with a xbox 360 if all you need is the wireless adapter.

I honestly prefer wireless for controllers. I can't tell (or at least haven't noticed) if it has any input lag.

Xbox one controller for sure, but watch the micro usb connector if that fucks up you be fucked.

 

Specific reasons why: thumbsticks feel really nice along with the matte plastic vs the ps3 and 360 controllers and the D pad is so much better.

Shit, I forgot how much the D-Pad sucked on the 360 controller... And in ETS2 that damn thing is great to have.

I've got an adapter for my PS2 controller and it works well with x360ce. If you have one around, picking up a cheap adapter from Amazon for a few dollars is an idea.

Again, PlayStation controllers and my hand don't get along well for extended periods of time. And my PS2 controller is just for my PS2.

I just ordered the Xbox One "PC" controller but haven't received it yet. From everything I've heard and read it's an improvement on the 360 controller in every way.

It's a bit longer at the back like i used to rest my index fingers on the tip of the triggers but now i put them in the middle of the triggers. But as for the roundness it feels a lot like the 360 controller it does feel more square just becuase of the straight edge near the bottom of the controller where you would plug the mic in. Honestly any changes to the controller from the 360 one you will get used to and eventually appreciate this is coming from someone that played his 360 for 4 solid years and has just now switched to using the one controller on PC.
