It's a bit longer at the back like i used to rest my index fingers on the tip of the triggers but now i put them in the middle of the triggers. But as for the roundness it feels a lot like the 360 controller it does feel more square just becuase of the straight edge near the bottom of the controller where you would plug the mic in. Honestly any changes to the controller from the 360 one you will get used to and eventually appreciate this is coming from someone that played his 360 for 4 solid years and has just now switched to using the one controller on PC.

I have you beat by half a year. :P

But shanks. I'm convinced. TV, then controller. :D

Never said i stopped playing just PC captured my attention MUAHAHAAH.

Also you'll need to update windows when you install the drivers and dont keep the controller on a elevated surface it vibrates quite forcefully when it connects/ windows starts up mine fell off my desk and broke my micro usb cable ( the god damn connector got ripped off the cable, was quite baffled).

Right now my Logitech controller is sitting on the carpet in front of my rig. :P

Get the Razer Sabertooth x360 controller as its by far the best option for a x360 controller. I'm patiently awaiting their variation of the X1 controller.

get the 360 controller. There is still no full support for the xbone controller, so you're not getting any extras. Get the Razer 360 controller(forgot the name) if you want to throw money at the thing

What do you mean the X1 controller is now fully supported over USB...

Its called the Razer Sabertooth and is the one that I also recommended.

Can't use the one controller wirelessly.

The one controller can only be used wirelessly. :P

I get what you meant though - the person I was replying to was just saying he preferred wireless controllers and there wasn't any input lag (which is true in this day and age. I'd imagine only the real hardcore would say there is noticeable lag.). I was just stating there are comfort advantages of wired.

Xbox controller without a shadow of a doubt. It's a perfect fit for your hands whereas the PS3 controller is much too much and there's barely anything to grip

This since your use to them but it HAS to be wired or you have to have a wireless receiver, the plug and charge cables won't allow it to connect to the PC.

@Archangel1994 no grip? Do you have giant hand or cover them in lube? :P

I've been debating over this for a long time. I have yet to come to a final decision.

Pros for Xbo 360 controller:

  • Comfort
  • Triggers
  • Official suppport for Windows

Pros for PS3:

  • D-pad
  • Analog stick placement
  • Face buttons
  • Relies on charging

I find th D-pad to be very important. Haven't tried the PS4 controller or any other 360 controller with improved D-pads.

Of the XB1 and 360 controllers,

If you want build quality I would get a 360 controller and see if its compatible with Xbox One controller thumbsticks. The XB1 thumbsticks are the best feeling sticks I've ever used, and I've never had quality problems with my 360 controllers until they've aged quite a bit and the sticks start to stick in different directions.

If you want comfort, hands down the One controller. It takes some getting used to, but I think it's in the running for being more comfortable to hold than the 360 controller. My one complaint about One controllers is that the build quality of them is subpar. On my first Xbox One controller, one of the bottom plates was loose so I couldn't help but constantly play with it. On my Advanced Warfare Xbox One controller the side seam where the plastic plating meets up is uneven, and it's a terrible nuisance to hold in your hand, despite how minuscule the imperfection looks if you don't touch it and you just inspect it.
