Quick ram question!

I'm going to be running my PC with a single ram DIMM while I paint my other 16Gb that I use regularly.

 

In which slot do I put the single DIMM?

Yeah - 

Ignore the sata 6g and marvell, the slot i circled.

 

Plus you can plug into any of the first two, but as Linus says, "As far away from the CPU as possible"

My motherboard didnt come with a manual so I just downloaded it from the website.

Apparently A1 slot is the closest one to the CPU, not second...

nvm i messed up, it recommends putting a single DIMM into A2, which IS the second one from the CPU, lol

so yeah you were right

 

also this is just a temporary solution, i dont really care about any performance issues
