Crossfire R9 290x with Corsair HX850?

Hi. I have a Corsair HX850 watt powersupply and currently just a single Sapphire Tri-X R9 290x and I'm considering getting another 290x and doing crossfire. I do know that this card is a monster on energy under load, and wanted to see what y'all think. Here are my full system specs:

CPU: AMD FX 8320 Black Edition

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1866mhz 32gb

Mobo: Biostar TA970 (Might upgrade to Asus Crosshair V Formula)

Cooling: Two 120mm Corsair High Perf fans, Two Red LED 120mm fans, Three 120mm fans, One 240mm fan

Storage: One 1tb Toshiba HDD, Two Segate Barracuda 3tb HDDs, and Samsung 850 Pro 128gb SSD

Sound: Asus Xonar DS 7.1

Wireless Adapter: Rosewill Rosewill RNX-N900PCE Dual Band

Peripherals: Microsoft Sidewinder X4 Backlit Keyboard, Corsair Vengeance M65 RGB Gaming Mouse, Xbox One Controller

Let me know if you need more info! Thanks!

Thanks! And what if I upgraded to an Intel 4790k and did the crossfire? That's the one that has been on my mind for a while, just not sure if I should do it lol.
