Black Friday results and cyber monday tips

Pena

So, here is waht i bought during black friday:

CPU: Pentium G3258

MoBo: MSI Z97-G43

Ram: 2x4GB kingston fury 1600

sdd: kingston V300 120gb

HD: WD blue 1TB

psu: EVGA 750W G2

GPU: gigabyte gaming g1 970

case: nzxt h440

The reason for why i bought the G3258 is because it the last part that i bought and i was getting short in money, and because i could overclock it to at least 4.2 it looked like a good idea, but now i need a good cpu and cheap cpu cooler.

The only parts that are missing is a monitor and a cpu cooler.

So i would like to know if i should change anything (nothing is paid yet, so i still got a change to get better deals monday), and sugestions for what are still missing.

You need to get a much better CPU or you have a significant bottleneck in any game that uses more CPU than normal. Try to get a 4690k or 4790k

RIG: I7-4790k @ 4.5GHz | MSI Z97S SLI Plus | 12GB Geil Dragon RAM 1333MHz | Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 (1550MHz core/7800MHz memory) @ +18mV(Maxed out at 1650/7800 so far) | Corsair RM750 | Samsung 840 EVO 120GB, 1TB Seagate Barracuda | Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 (Closed) | Sound Blaster Z                                                                                                                        Getting: Noctua NH-D15 | Possible 250GB Samsung 850 Evo                                                                                        Need a console killer that actually shits on every console? Here you go (No MIR/Promo)

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

Actually not much bottle neck at all. You could even have a 980 and youll be good with minimal bottleneck

I have a significant bottleneck on maps like siege of shanghai, maps that like to shit on your CPU and this CPU is 4 threaded and stronger than the G3258

look like as nice start :)

But you might want to upgrade your cpu to something better if you ware wanting to play some off the higher end games.
but then again seeing aas your getting a z97 mobo you could always upgrade the cpu at a latter date too :)

For the money the kingston v300 is a steal and we still give you great performance

well see that is different!

BF4 requires a good cpu

But, with games like Farcry 4 straight up not booting on dual cores you might run into some problems with future games taking this approach.

If you dont need to overclock get the i5 4440 or the 4460 (minimal difference)
