Noctua DH-15 VS Corsair H100I

nikolaizombie1
Go to solution Solved by Archangel1994,

NH-D15 is quieter, better performing and more reliable.

H100i is aesthetically pleasing and easier to work with as it does not take up as much space as an NH-D15.

My money goes to the NH-D15 because I prefer reliability and performance over looks

Both of these coolers are at $100 and both of them are regarded as being one of the best in there class.

Which one of these coolers should i get for my build?

D15, definitely. Air coolers are quieter and more reliable, especially Noctuas with their 6-year warranty. @Archangel1994 would agree with me on this.

This^

But I would go for the D15 because I'm obsessed with silence

You could consider the D14, since it's nearly identical with the D15.

D14 should be cheaper by a bit, but the D15 did improve ram compatibility over its predecessor, so...

CPU: 5820K GPU: Gigabyte G1 970 RAM: 16 GB Crucial Ballistix Mobo: EVGA m-ATX Cooler: Corsair H100i Case: Xigmatek Aquila PSU: NZXT 700W Monitors: 2 x Wasabi Mango (1440p)

Do you play Go/Baduk/Weiqi? I am AGA 4D.
