Wireless mouse with wireless charging and a mousepad that has a wireless charger built in.

Just solved the "my wireless mouse just died because I didn't charge it" problem.

I don't care I'd rather see this idea actually happen because I have no way of actually turning a profit on this.

Good idea but then why are you using a wireless mouse? Cause I would say most people who use a wireless mouse are using it on surfaces without mousepads. And for a desktop I don't see how it could help. The only argument I can see is the cord can't get caught on anything or drag.

^_^; just saying. It's a cool idea, I just don't think it would go over too well since now you'd have to have a wire connected to your mousepad so you'd still be using wires.

Pretty sure LG was taking in ideas via E-Mail and if they like your idea, you get 25%, they get 75%.

Pretty sure they got the "volume rockers in the back" idea like that. (Don't quote me)

Or, you could file a patent and then charge a fee for using your idea later in the future.

Personally I use my G700S wireless all day and by the end of the day its nearly dead and I have forgotten to plug it in so I thought hey if my mousepad was a charging base and my mouse could charge from it I would never have to plug it in again. If someoen actually brought this idea to market i bet people would be all over it.

Yea I have no clue how that stuff works plus we all know how patents work, first I publish my idea then someoen makes a small change and its now their idea.

So how thick are we talking about? a bricksize? or double?

I'm sure some engineer could make a wireless charging pad thats no thicker than a mouse pad.

I'm just saying if a company like Razor or Logitech made a mouse like this I'd buy one.

That exists already. I'm sure I've seen a demo of it somewhere. But there the charger had longer range and was applied to the keyboard as well. Mice and keyboards don't have very high power consumption though. I don't think you'd really need it.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

No. Once you have a patent on the idea, companies can either pay you to use the idea or just buy the idea altogether.

Companies paying to use your idea would be something like "per every keyboard manufactured, you get $5".

If it already exists I want it to come to market because i've never seen this before.

I'm not positive, but i think a company already did that or at least showed it off at a tradeshow.

It doesn't charge when you use it which is a shame but i guess it's better than nothing.
