5.25" card reader without extra USB ports?

I was originally going to get the NZXT Aperture M, but then I realized that it has USB connectors on it, which I really do not need. I was looking towards you guys in hopes that you could find one that looks nice and doesn't have extra USB ports on it. I have other things I should be doing right now (like getting a Christmas list ready and a parts list ready for my computer, since I haven't gotten anything done on that yet).

A. Only 1 USB 3 connector. B. I'll hardly use all of the USB ports I have now. C. If I leave it unplugged, then I'll plug things into it and get pissed that it isn't working.

A. It has two USB3 ports, not one

B. But as stated in C you would use it anyways

C. Just leave it plugged in then so that you have the option of using them...

And it's not that I would use them, but I would see them and think that they're plugged in. Then I would plug something into them.

 

Then tape over the unnecessary connector.

If you have a free internal USB2 port you can use something like this

to have both your case and the card reader USB port working, while one set would be USB2 and the other would be USB3

But the USB connectors at the bottom of the motherboard are so close to the cable routing holes...

If you put effort into cable management it cant be that bad.

The back of my 300R is too full. I can't even really put the PCIe power connectors back there.
