Uninstalling Windows 8.1

Go to solution Solved by andre82693,

So, I posted a while back and, unfortunately, nobody was able to help me with my little driver problem (looks like the registry is corrupted. I tried for days alot of different solutions I found, but nothing worked). That being said, I decided to wipe my HD and reinstall windows. How do you think I can do this? I thought about formatting the hd in another machine, but I don't have any other pc to use, only if I go to a store or something, but I didn't like the sound of that. Also, I have an old hard drive here I could use, if that helps.

Just boot using a Wndows disk or USB drive?

You need http://gparted.org/livecd.php and create an bootable usb. Instructions can be found on their website.

Then boot from the usb and after selecting keymap and the other questions rightclick on the desired hdd, select nfts and click on apply. Wait for it to be done. Then reboot and install Windows.

boot from USB or a DVD and then you have the option to wipe the drive.
