Pentium G3258 vs FX 8320 (poll)

no dude, I said that they are 1-2% QuickerIn some scenario than i5, not every

Battlefield 4, WoW, Bioschock infinite, Skyrim...and few other games

Please show me a source showing that an 8350 is better in any one of those games....

Even in BF4, one of the most heavily threaded games around an i5 beats an 83xx

and if you go SLI/XFIRE, the results get even worse for AMD. (note, I'm comparing 4690 to a 9590)

@djdwosk97

@Vrbas

That post was not aimed at you, it was aimed at faa, as once we had a long discussion, whereas he tried to prove a point that did not need to be proven.

and anytime he posts, it seems that he puts incredible amount of work to get the right sources to prove him, whereas as an Intel and AMD owner I know my stuff

Even a $1000 Intel CPU is just as fast in BF3 all CPU perform the same LOL. Then you factor in Mantle and then AMD is much faster.

Nice joke.

Perhaps you should look into Mantle today not how it was on day one launch LOL.

Videos produced this month not 9 months ago when Mantle launched and had bugs.

Always got to be an argument...

My spare 2500k kicks the 9590 in it's ball sack at the same clock (5ghz), even comes pretty close to the 3960x in some cases (work loads)

Pentium for single-threaded, FX for multi-thread.

If I were to pick, I'd go with the 8320 since, as said before, multi-core/threaded performance will matter more than single-threaded eventually.

Since when does BF3 support Mantle?

Since BF4 is when mantle was supported.

I have a really big 1st world problem here LOL ... Choose Intel platform with Core i3 and shitty mobo or get an FX 6300 and quality mobo that I would not have to swap out right away for something with more features that I need.

The FX 6300 still fails to bottleneck higher-end cards... You can still get a year or two out of it.

I had the fx 6350 at 4.8Ghz and in most games it was "fine". Even in games like bf4, in 64p games, it held back my r9 270x...I know this might be irrelevant, but I stepped up to an i7 4790k and got like +20fps, and no more fps drops with same gpu.

Both really, for unzipping files and those 2003 games and those other 3 single threaded games nothing beats intel.
for everyday use amd.
only reason im entertaining the idea of getting a 5820k is cinebench but damn ddr4 2133? my ddr3 rams faster than that, i'm also hardly held back though..
