Best Nvidia Driver (As of 344.16)

Ober1kenobi

I'm currently using the 344.16 Drivers and it was more stable than the .48 driver at the time of Purchase. On my end anyway.

Is the new .75 driver any good ? And how is the previous one too it, but latter to .48 ?

With nvidia drivers, they will almost always work, so just update to the latest drivers using geforce experience whenever they come out.

If you ever have any issues with the latest driver you can just download the previous one and revert. (but issues are very uncommon unless there is something on your OS causing the problem, in which case it is not the drivers fault)

Only ever had one issue with one driver (out of over 50 that I have had over the past 5 years) because of some windows graphics driver that didnt install correctly :( and I just updated to the latest one (344.75) and no issues at all.

Fair enough. I never even thought about like windows/intel Graphics drivers..

Might just wait to see what the general consensus is

I heard of a few people having problems with .48
Unless we all just have the same issue on our end

This is why I hate GPU drives, especially AMD. The latest version should always improve on the previous ones....but of course that's not always true.

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

344.48 screwed with my OCs for my cards making me have to add voltage to them if I wanted to OC, but otherwise they've been fine.

344.60 have been fine for me. 344.65 and 344.75 I've not tried as I have no need to upgrade and I *REALLY* hate restarting my PC (yes, even with the SSD) which I need to do to re-enable SLI.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

THE INFORMATION GUIDES: SLI INFORMATION || vRAM INFORMATION || MOBILE i7 CPU INFORMATION || Maybe more someday

I just tried the new 344.75 drivers. Doesn't seem very stable. I tried to plat Archeage and it crashed, same with COD: AW
