How does this game still have microstutter just like the previous Far Cry on my system? I don't get it. The only games that stutter for me is Skyrim still and every Ubisoft title I own, which is alot. What is with this problem? Will DirectX 12 fix this??? I get over 100fps in this game with Vsync off and a solid 60fps, yet still get the microstutter. Same with Far Cry 3. Wtf Ubisoft.

I even change multiple settings to fix the stutter and even on low and the game running at over 200+fps, I still get stutter!

Right well we can all see this is an illegal copy... a repack so whos to say thats not causing it?.  Now you also have to remember that the game has no official drivers as of yet? So no crossfire/SLI support. I have played FC4 as well and it had no micro stutter for me but also no Crossfire profiles. I got no dips/stutter at all not even in FC3.

It is not an illegal copy. I'm in Korea and I was able to get it early somehow.

Maybe there's something wrong with your system.

No other game gives me any stutter, only seems to be anything from Ubisoft i.e. Assassin's Creed 3 and up, Watch Dogs, and the Far Cry series. Splinter Cell doesnt tho. So not tech all Ubisoft titles. I love Splinter Cell

Still doesn't change the fact there are no drivers out yet. You cant expect the game to run well. But when I played it It was perfect for me on ultra settings. Dont jump on the Ubisoft Anti-hype train. Credit where credit is due Ubisoft did well with FC4.

Game is amazing, just the microstutter I hate. I still get in in Far Cry 3, unless someone has a fix for it. I've looked everywhere, did the whole "Variable Vsync" crap too in the Nvidia control panel, and even turned off Vsync, set all my settings low, and still get it.

Ubisoft still sucks a giant bowl of dicks and I hope their stocks fall even more. It's not a hype-train, its very real looking at their track record.

I hope it works but even Far Cry 3 is patched and still has stutter issues on high end computers. On my GTX 770 and 680 cards I had no stutter, but I couldn't reach 100fps on them either like I can with my 780Ti

I get no stutter at all in FC3 even at 5760x1080p ?... must be your system.

The game doesn't suck tho, far from it, just the stutter issue that is all. The story pulled me right in from the second I met the villain. Its the ones you want to kill sooo fucking badly that pull you in, especially when he opened the main character's mother's ashes. Oh I wanted to reach across the table and strangle the fucker.

What are you running it on tho, like with Watch Dogs, it's bad on higher end GPU's. I'm gonna upload some Far Cry 3 gameplay later on and I'll post it on here with all the different profiles. No problem in any other game, even Grand Theft Auto IV runs perfectly on my system (can you believe that shit?). Lol.

We're all very impressed.

Good thing :)

Can we stay on the topic of the games performance and not storyline.. I'm going to pick up the game in the coming weeks.

Lol, you must be religious. Its a norm in my line of work deal with it.

Just telling you that some of the mods are slightly hmm... strict with this. One of them once changed the "shitty" in a title for a thread I had to "not so nice".

I'm the same way, but the performance is based on many factors. There hasn't been a driver release yet, but seriously, we rely on these driver releases everytime a game comes out. It's what the game brings to the table on launch day. We never used to have these problems back in the day. One game that never game me an issue, since launch day, was Shadow of Mordor. Not one stutter, few funny glitches, and it ran perfectly on my system maxed out. I look at games nowadays as 60% performance/graphics, and 40% story, because nobody has yet created a game that blows Final Fantasy 7 story-wise out of the water ;) lol

Square Enix can make bank if they released a perfect FF7 remake, but they've been asked soo many time since the 90's to do so and still haven't done it yet. I believe the guy said something like, once PC gaming gets to the point of being beyond realism, then they will remake it. Something like that.

Not bad. Different cards tho. You have alot more headroom when it comes to ram and buffer, but a game that can run at over 100fps on my system shouldn't stutter at all. I'm getting a new monitor soon, the 144hz ASUS 24" and hopefully I can get some more performance out of my games instead of always having to use vsync.

Despite the fact that you're telling people to "deal with it" when they say your tone is quite aggressive, what part of that video has microstuttering? I don't feel like watching 20 minutes to find a little bit of microstutter somewhere.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

I've played it and it stutters regardless of game settings, this tells me that it needs a proper driver to run right. That being said I don't get stutter in FC3 but everyone will almost certainly have a difference experience because:PC gaming. The solution here is to keep your dammed pants on and wait for the next driver from Nvidia.
