So my expectations are fullfilled to say the least. This is probably the best expansion IMO since BC or WOTLK. Of course I'm just judging this game after barely 4 days after release, so a lot could change. Is anyone else enjoying WoD a lot? Or did the WoW hype die out for some of you? I have yet to hear bad opinions about the expansion

Haha, those are ... Acronyms I'd say.

WoW = World of Warcraft

BC = Burning crusade

WOtlk= wrath of the lich king

wod= warlords of draenor

That's probably because draenor = outland

Gotta dissapoint you. I've got epics through questing. Nobody really seems to care about this since item level is all that matters

Yeah its just a shame, the game back in BC days if you saw somebody with epics you knew they where 'good'... now it means nothing. But I understand why they have done it to appeal to the casual gamers.

These handed out questing epics are quality from a mid range of last tier.. Not anything good. So far it's hard to get gear.

Yeah, I've heard great things aside from the ridiculous queue times on high pop US servers. Honestly, I'll probably try it at some point.

It's based on item level now, not rarity of item generally. Any raid tier gear or some dungeon/quest gear will be purple. Item level is the big difference here.

I'm excited to try it out when I get the time.. Unfortunately it wont happen until early next year

Yeah, but WoW or Blizzard in general usually get a lot of hate. If they try to steer WoW more into the esports direction, they get hate from League kids, saying they are 'copying' them, while WoW actually started earlier than Riot with that. Blizzard is going to release an FPS that looks a bit like TF2 on first sight, guess what the mainstream gamers say now. 'TF2 ripoff'

I don't like the direction Ubisoft is going either but people (PC gamers especially) take it WAYYY too personal.

MoP dailys ruined 8 years of WoW in T14 for me. Die hard since before T2 looked like awful greens, Valestrazz was the "guild breaker", one AV game lasted for 16 hours plus, and when you saw a Scarab Lord title and mount it was like "holy shit!".

 

I pre ordered DA:I instead and retired for good hopefully.
