Looking for a desktop replacement laptop

I'm looking into getting a laptop in January when my student loan comes in, and basically I'm struggling to find my ideal laptop.

I'm studying Games Software Development at uni and need it to be as close to a desktop replacement as possible.

Features I'm looking for include:

Intel quad core

1080p IPS

GTX 900 series (will settle for 800 series if the right laptop comes around)

full size keyboard with numpad (backlit would be nice but not essential)

SSD for OS

HDD for programs

blu ray drive would be nice but not essential

LAN port would be nice but not essential

I'm in the UK and have looked on sites such as eBuyer and Scan but I'm struggling to find the right one.  I've even looked on custom sites like PC Specialist and they have great custom ones, but I'm stuck with either powerful and TN panel, or IPS and very low end GPU.  I'm hoping by the time I come around to buying it the GTX 960M will be available but I'm struggling to find any news about that either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TheSLSAMG hit it right on the head. This is about the closest you will get although it is a hulk of a system and only lasts about 2 hours on batter from what I remember.

EDIT: Also what type of games are you creating?

I bout the Asus G550JK when it came out for uni stuff. Not disappointed I replaced the 1tb drive with a 500gb SSD (you could remove the DVD tray and add another HDD in there with an adapter. You get a 850M GPU and that is Maxwell (850+ is not) It can do exactly what I expected it to do.

Intel I9-9900k (5Ghz) Asus ROG Maximus XI Formula | Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR4-4133mhz | ASUS ROG Strix 2080Ti | EVGA Supernova G2 1050w 80+Gold | Samsung 950 Pro M.2 (512GB) + (1TB) | Full EK custom water loop |IN-WIN S-Frame (No. 263/500)

Wow I wasn't expecting so many responses so fast.  I'd have to settle for the 970M on that first one, it'd wipe out my entire student loan.  That G550JK also looked really interesting, definitely keeping them both on my watch list.

faftek: At the minute I'm in second year and we're just moving into 3d now.  Recently made a 2d 1942 clone and we're moving into XNA for our 2nd year project.  My project is gonna be a 2.5D fighting game
