Am i an idiot? I think i am under powering my system

Hi there

I am currently building a PC for mid to high end gaming when i boot up the machine i get led's and fan all running, no bios beeps, but no display output.

I am running:

Motherboard - Asus M5A78L-M/USB3

CPU              - AMD FX 6350

Ram              - 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600mhz

Graphics Card - Sapphire Dual-X R9 270X

2 x optical drives

2 x 2.5 inch hard drives

i am trying to run it off of a CoolerMaster B600 600w PSU 85% efficiency

Am i being an idiot? is this to little power?

I had a ram issue but i replaced them

If the power supply wasn't providing enough power, two things would happen. The power supply would either burn itself out, or simply shut off(the latter is much more ideal). Do you know if the RAM replacement actually works?

No, 600W is more then enough for that system, i have a 6300, 770, 8GB RAM and have a (very good) 550W PSU and it works just fine

[CPU: AMD FX-6100 @3.3GHz ] [MoBo: Asrock 970 Extreme4] [GPU: Gigabyte 770 OC ] [RAM: 8GB] [sSD: 64gb for OS] [PSU: 550Watt Be Quiet!] [HDD: 1TB] [CPU cooler: Be Quiet! Shadow Rock Pro Sr1]  -Did i solve your question/problem? Please click 'Marked Solved'-

MAKE SURE Front panel connectors are set correctly.. ..go actually make sure, instead of saying "of course they are" <--sometimes they wiggle loose if your moving fingers/cables around them.

Use single sticks of ram at a time, to find out if its an issue with either stick.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
