Well i have not yet really played an AC game, and it was on sale on Steam so......

Unfortunately you bought the worst AC game...aside from unity. You should have went with ac2. It's probably the best AC game. That or the first one. But the first is a lot more repetitive.

Yeah its not that bad with a mouse and keyboard i actually enjoy it after a few quick rebinds. I actually prefer it over the controller oddly enough.

AC II and Brotherhood are probably the best AC games as it has the most scope in the story line then any other AC game so far (don't have Unity till tomorrow), I played both of them for months after completing them both on the 360 and PC.

Don't worry too much... I can play it on my APU (2GB allocated to VRAM) at 12fps acceptable framerates at 640x480 low 720p high...

I actually really, really enjoyed Brotherhood.  I thought Cesare Borgia was a really great antagonist and the whole idea of training and dispatching assassins was a really great improvement to the game.  Made me feel like a boss just casually walking the streets and having people assassinated.

Brotherhood and AC 2 are the best of the series. Beautiful setting, the best main AC character (Ezio, not Desmon) and an engaging story. Good pick I say.

The first is terribly over rated. You do the same thing over and over again to unlock an assassination mission. The story is okay but to me it is the worst in the franchise.

I have a feeling these shit ports are something to do with french developers. Ubisoft on pc are shit and gameloft on android are shit hmmm

It should run fine on your machine but you should play AC2 first as the story will make more sense.
