Hmmm... could be an expected spec leak, rather than atrue leak, or you could be right, and this is major.

btw, the 290x2 link only goes to a normal r9 290, and not an r9 295x2, or an r290x, or even the supposed r9 290x2

edit: it's a speculated leak, if you view their reviews on it they explain their info is from expected specs and leaks

GeForce GTX 980 Ti 8GB Review

Overview
GeForce GTX 980 Ti 8GB is an upcoming Enthusiast Graphics Card based on the second revision of the Maxwell architecture. Current specifications are based on rumours and so everything is still subject to change.

Architecture
The Second variant of the Maxwell Architecture, despite being also manufactured with a 28nm technology, has an extremely large L2 Cache and features a Third Generation Delta Color Compressionwhich allows NVIDIA to produce Graphics Cards with relatively small memory data transfer rates, without causing too much impact on the overall performance. Furthermore, the Shaders have been redesigned and are both more powerful and energy efficient.
The Second Revision of Maxwell also adds VXGI (Voxel Global Illumination) which makes scenes significantly more lifelike and believable as light interacts more realistically in the game environment and the MFAA technology which provides the same effect as MSAA but at a much lower performance cost.

GPU
It equips a GPU codenamed GM200-300-A1 which has 20 SM activated and thus 2560 Shader Processing Units, 150 TMUs and 96 ROPs, on a 384-bit memory interface of fast GDDR5. The central unit runs at ????MHz and goes up to ????MHz, in Turbo Mode, while the memory clock operates at 1753MHz.

Features
DirectX 12.0 Support (11.0 Hardware Default) and support for SLI, VXGI, MFAA, GameStream, G-SYNC, GPU Boost 2.0, GeForce Experience, PhysX and other technologies.

Cooling Solution
Coming Soon!

Power Consumption
Coming Soon!

Release Price
Coming Soon!

Performance
Leaks Indicate its performance may surpass GeForce GTX 780 Ti in over 30%.

System Suggestions
We recommend a very strong processor (Intel Core i7 Quad Core/AMD FX Eight Core) and 12GB of RAM for a system with GeForce GTX 980 Ti 8GB.

I wouldn't call it a leak, more of an educated guess. If you look at the past in tech, you can predict the future with 99.9999% accuracy

(e.g: the next iPhone will be the 6s and it will look similar if not the same as the iPhone 6 and deliver pretty much zero benefits over the previous iteration.)

Compatible with Windows 95

Seeing the site called the 295x2 a '290x2' (and described it as having 1024 bit memory bus as if those 2 chips acted as a single GPU), I wouldn't consider it a very serious source.

Well actually they are right. Look up the PowerColor Devil 13 290x2 as seen in OPs snapshot.

OK, my bad.

The point about memory bus still stands though. The card has 2 frame buffers with a 512b bus each. The bandwidth doesn't stack just like the buffer size doesn't stack cause each GPU is using only 1 of them.

Will that is true, they will always advertise it like that.
